Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at “The Sampler” in South Kensington. It has been quite a few years since I tasted this Cos d’Estournel. This bottle had a much more herbaceous bouquet compared to eight years ago: undergrowth, tree bark, dusty mahogany bureau with vestiges of sweet red fruits eventually rising to the surface. The palate is foursquare and conservative with dusty black fruits and a dry, aloof finish that has its own “classic” charm..."—NM  (9/2011)

Wine Spectator: "Deep ruby-garnet; mild green tea and cassis nose; concentrated, elegant, firm..."  (5/1993)
